BEFORE YOU START
Practical answers. No fine-print maze.
What the starter plan does, what Free can hold, and where Keepivo leaves the judgment to you.
← Back to KeepivoIs the starter plan specific to my exact home?
It is a practical starting point based on the systems you select. Always review suggestions against manufacturer manuals, warranty terms, local requirements, and qualified professional advice.
Can renters use Keepivo?
Yes. Choose the systems and appliances you are responsible for and leave out anything handled by a landlord, property manager, or association. The home and its records can still be useful even when you do not own the property.
Will the starter plan fill my free account?
No. Free supports up to 10 assets and 30 tasks. The starter planner intentionally creates no more than two tasks per selected asset, leaving room for assets and tasks you add yourself.
Do I need Keepivo Home to use the starter plan?
No. You can build, review, and use the starter plan on Free. Keepivo Home is for households that want more room, richer capture, connected calendars, and complete exports.
Can my household use it together?
Yes. Invite people with Keepivo accounts or add household members without accounts, then assign the work to the people who actually handle it.
Can I change what the planner creates?
Yes. Nothing is added until you review it, and every asset and task remains editable afterward. Keep what is useful, remove what is not, and add the work unique to your home.
What does equipment capture do?
Keepivo can read an equipment label to help fill in details such as the model and serial number, find a relevant user manual, and suggest maintenance. You review the result before saving it.
Does Keepivo replace professional advice?
No. Keepivo helps organize information and reminders. Follow the equipment manual and use a qualified professional whenever work involves safety, code requirements, utilities, or anything outside your experience.
