Frequently asked questions

Is Keepivo free?

Yes. The Free plan covers one home with up to 10 assets, 30 tasks, and 4 household members — at no cost. If you need more room, a one-time Home unlock and an annual Pro plan add higher limits, full calendar sync, and PDF exports. See the pricing section for details.

What devices can I use Keepivo on?

Keepivo runs in your web browser today at app.keepivo.com — nothing to install. Native iOS and Android apps are in the works. The app is currently in beta and updated frequently.

How does the AI asset scanner work?

Point your camera at an appliance or home system and Keepivo uses Google Gemini AI to identify it, pull out details like make and model, and suggest a tailored maintenance schedule. You review and edit everything before it’s saved — nothing is added without your say-so. Photos are processed for analysis and not stored permanently. Is my data private and secure?

Your data is yours. We don’t sell personal information, connections use encrypted HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and each household’s data is isolated at the database level. You can export or delete your data at any time. Read the full Privacy Policy.

Can my whole household share one home?

Yes. Invite other people to your home, assign tasks to them, and track who completed what. Each plan includes a set number of household members, and Pro supports managing multiple homes from one account.

What’s the difference between household members and family members?

Household members have their own Keepivo accounts and can log in. Family members are people you add by name — like kids or a partner who doesn’t want an account — so you can still assign tasks to them without setting up a login.

Can Keepivo sync with my calendar?

Yes. You can connect your Google account and sync the tasks assigned to you to Google Calendar, with priority color coding and timed or all-day events. Calendar sync is optional and one-way (Keepivo → your calendar).

Can I export my home’s data?

Yes. Keepivo can generate PDF reports of your assets, tasks, and maintenance history. The Free plan includes a preview, and paid plans unlock full (and, on Pro, branded) exports.

How do I delete my account or data?

You can delete individual items, or your entire account, from within the app’s settings. Deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems. If you need help, email support@keepivo.com.
