These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Keepivo application and the keepivo.com website (together, the “Service”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Keepivo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Keepivo is a personal and household asset management application that allows users to:
- Track home assets, appliances, and equipment;
- Schedule and manage maintenance tasks;
- Record task completion history;
- Manage household members and access;
- Generate weekly-to-annual maintenance plans and printable matrices;
- Optionally use AI-powered features for asset identification and maintenance suggestions; and
- Optionally sync tasks with Google Calendar or calendars available through Apple Calendar.
3. User Accounts & Authentication
To use the app, you must create an account by providing a valid email address, password, name, and optional username. You may also sign in using Google or Apple authentication. Apple may provide a private relay address when you choose Hide My Email. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Paid Plans, Purchases & Refunds
Keepivo offers a Free plan and a renewable annual Home plan. Home is billed at the price and interval shown before purchase, renews automatically each year until cancelled, and adds the complete printable maintenance matrix, calendar sync, annual AI captures, and higher household limits for one household account. Existing customers who previously purchased a lifetime Home unlock keep that lifetime access. Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe, iOS subscriptions through Apple's App Store, and Android subscriptions through Google Play. RevenueCat verifies mobile purchases and entitlements. We do not store full card numbers or complete payment credentials.
Paid features are granted after the payment processor confirms the purchase. You may cancel before the next renewal through the applicable billing portal or app store; cancellation normally leaves access active through the paid billing period. Refund eligibility, timing, and payment disputes may depend on the processor or app store used. Contact support if a confirmed purchase does not unlock correctly.
For an App Store purchase, payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the localized price shown before purchase unless you cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings before the renewal. Apple manages App Store refunds, payment-method changes, and billing disputes. Keepivo provides a Restore Purchases action for eligible App Store purchases.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- Share your credentials with unauthorized persons;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ data; or
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service’s operation.
6. AI-Powered Features
The app includes optional AI-powered features using Google Gemini AI. AI features are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. AI-generated suggestions should not replace professional advice for maintenance or safety matters. For more detail, see our AI Usage Disclosure.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keepivo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
